Epicuro Primitivo Puglia 2019

This 100%-Primitivo with its dark purple colour offers a wonderful variety of flavours with notes of plums and sweet cherries. There is also a subtle spiciness and – typical of Primitivo – a full-bodied fruitiness. On the palate warm, with ripe and soft tannins. The finish is long-lasting.

The vines grow on dark, ferruginous and partly volcanic soils. The very hot summers and temperate winters are ideal for the grape variety Primitivo, which is one of the hallmarks of vineyards in Puglia.

Enjoy this wonderful Primitivo from Puglia – the region that forms the “boot heel” of Italy – with hearty meat dishes.
